MND Research Australia welcomes you to the 3rd Australian and New Zealand MND Research Symposium. The two-day event will provide a unique opportunity for MND researchers and those with a lived experience of MND to collaborate, connect and learn.
The Research Symposium will have a scientific program running over Tuesday 27th August and Wednesday 28th August with the MND Connect – Research Live session integrating with the scientific program on Wednesday. The program will also include an evening poster session (Tuesday).
The objectives of the Australian and
New Zealand MND Research
Symposium:
To promote sharing of expertise among MND researchers in Australia and NZ;
To enable interactions of researchers to foster the development of research collaborations;
To grow interest and a commitment to MND research;
To inform MND associations, healthcare workers and clinicians about the latest developments in MND research;
To demonstrate the value of research funded by MND Australia to donors to encourage their coninuing support;
To inform the MND lived experience community of the latest research advances and further their understanding of research
